Soft voice, sharp stories.
Justine Beverley is a bilingual singer-songwriter whose music blends the warmth of American country with the soul of Scottish folk and a touch of French pop. Just months after her first open mic in 2023, Justine earned a coveted slot at the Celtic Connections Danny Kyle Open Stage, a breakthrough that led to performances at Country2Country and other major Scottish festivals.
Influenced by Carly Pearce, Lainey Wilson, Evan Honer, Sons of the East, and Beluga Lagoon, her sound is rooted in sharp, intimate storytelling. Writing in both English and French, her songs explore heartbreak, wanderlust, and the fragile poetry of everyday life. In 2025, Justine honed her craft in Nashville, attending Andrea Stolpe’s renowned songwriting retreat featuring Beth Nielsen Chapman, and showcasing her work at writers’ rounds.
Her first two singles “Passenger Seat” and “On n’oublie pas” (2025) have received combined coverage from BBC Radio Scotland, CountryLine Radio, and other national outlets, positioning Justine as one of the most exciting emerging voices connecting Nashville’s storytelling with Europe’s country-folk revival.
